gas mixed with water?
2006 manual base Z
i have been driving manual for a little more then 2 years now so i know how it feels to bog the car, hop of the clutch, etc. am not perfect but am pretty close to it in my opinion. i almost hardly ever stall and my shifts are rather very smooth unless am eatting **** or somethings on my mind
today i was very low on gas and rather then going to the 1 and only gas station i go to every time to fill it which is a marathon gas station i ended up filling up at a chervron by the gym i was going to. i put 3 gallons of premium gas which is the type i get. after starting my gas when i put it into 1st gear my car wanted to stall so i ended up putting it in nuetral and trying again with the same results. i drove 2 blocks to my gym and it happened 4 more times within that time frame. they were all from a dead stop going into 1st gear. after the gym my car ran a little weird and bogged 2 more times until i was able to get to my gas station and fill her up. now the car runs perfect but should i be a bit concerned?
its been pouring every single day here for what id say the past 2 weeks

honestly i didnt even inspect the exhaust. this is the 1st time its ever happened. i was a bit worried seeing as am running almost full bolt ons with no tune. the car runs fine now that i filled up the tank. the problem was moving from a dead stop. once the cars moving shifting wasnt a problem.

she seems to be running fine now ever since i put the new gas. i know it happened to my uncle a few years back. the gas station he filled up at had water and actualy damaged his car along with several others. im assuming this has to be pretty rare for water to get mixed into their gas tanks.

It is a possibility, but it doesn't happen often. It has never happened to me but I can imagine that draining the tank (when fuel level has become very low) and replacing fuel filter would alleviate future problem associated with water in gasoline.
