Question about Plenum Spacer and MREV2
I recently purchased a 2006 350z that has a plenum spacer installed. Is there a way for me to tell what brand it is and whether it has the MREV2 installed with it?
Also, if it does not have the MREV2 already, can I install one irregardless of the brand of the spacer or must it be a Moterdyne spacer.
Thanks for your help!

use google and look at the differences for the plenum... the mrev2 has a different construction of the back 2 runners(the ones closest to the front of the car) the are tilted toward the throttle body at more of an angle then the rest)
plenum spacer would be a little more difficult to know what brand, some brands use different material and there are also angled spacers... unless it says its name on it or is a more uniquely made spacer you may never know, if you post a picture im sure if its a more commonly known one someone will know 100% with out a doubt which brand it
no you do not have to use he motordyne spacer with the mrev2, they may show better gains as a package but that may not be true either because you can get a few different varieties of the spacer (copper,iso-thermal, etc) so even as a motordyne and depending on how you use the car it may not be the best spacer for you...
also i believe it is the mrev2 they say can show losses when adding a spacer, however i believe it may be that way just for the DE or possibly the DEr, i cant remember for sure right now though, maybe someone will chime in and clarify..

he is correct, and then your best bet is to use google the mrev2 and look at how it is designed compared to the stock plenum the runners on the back of the plenum(front side of the car) are angled more to face the front of the plenum to have better air flow to the lower runners
