Default p0024 and p0021

I have a 2006 350z 6 speed and it has 2 codes p0021 and p0024. I have done the following, changed the oil, checked the level, changed the cam intake sensor bank 2. Changed the variable valve Solenoid bank 2, checked the magnet in the advance/retard in bank 2, replaced the timing chains. Help I keep throwing both these codes Evey time I reset the codes or dissconect the battery. I also do the pedal relearn sequence too. Also for reference I have a aem intake and custom exhaust with no tune. help!

Well as you've figured, both of the problems are on bank 2 (drivers side) P0021 & P0024are for problems with intake valve timing and over advanced timing. Did you change the cam sensor with OEM or a pattern part? The cheaper parts are often the cause of quite a lot of trouble and don't seem to last that long, especially the angled bank 2 sensors. Do you know if your '06 has variable valve timing on both intake & exhaust, as this feature was brought out on the '06 and HR Z's? You've covered pretty much everything If its not a faulty cam sensor then I'd be taking it to your nearest 350Z specialist. Oh and welcome to the forum. Let us know how you get on as this might help a forum member in the future.

Thank you I think I found out what it might be. I've read that if you install the lightweight flywheel wrong it can cause this. The guy that had it before me had this put on. I'm going to look at this Saturday I will let you know. It is a jwt light weight by the way.
