Default 2008 350z 2d coupe OBD port

I own a American 2008 350z coupe 2d and i got something from my insurance to plug into my obd port. now i read allot of post that say its under the tcs /vsc or under the thing to pop the hood. but its not there. i had my mechanic look at it as well n he couldnt find it. the owners manual also doesn't say.

does anyone here know were it is located.

It is there somewhere, you may have to get your head under there and look up so you can see everything there. But it is definitely there.

Look under the drivers side dash, to the left and behind where the fuel door and traction control buttons are.

Just scanned my car for the 1st time today. Took me 5 seconds to feel for it and I'm not even close to a mechanic ~

That is the obligitory "my mechanic cant find it either" to convince you that he actually looked for it. When in reality he opened the package from Progressive with the snapshot tool and immediately signed in to ask without looking.

I found mine in less than 5 seconds although it was turned straight up and down rather than horizonal on a 2006 MT! Trust me it's there and very easy to find!

If anything...it's hanging off to the left if it's not bolted in...

Awkward position but a flash light and continue to look

Keep us posted

No excuse

Actually looking at your picture it's should be there because those screws hold the bracket that hold the OBD port.

EDIT
Get a Philips screw driver and it's pretty straight forward to removing that side panel.

Cause iirc a scew hold it in at one point

Also what are you trying to do again
