Default engine swap issues, need advice

I have an 06 350z, 6sp man. I just bought and installed an engine for it, also a vq35de. I have most everything buttoned up, but this! My old vq has 4 additional sensors 1more at the front and rear of each head. The front ones are on the timing cover/cam gear covers on each side, the rear ones on the inside rear on each head. My new motor doesn't have these plugs. I don't know where, or what to do from here. Please help with any advice you may have, thanks

The 06 models came with the revup version of the vq35, sounds like you bought a non-revup motor.

I thought that too, initially. But they both have single intakes and vq35de stamped on the blocks...I thought the high Rev motors had dual air intakes.

I will post some pics when I get home to show the differences.

That's the hr...
The revup is a de, except us 350 users classify the 06+ as a revup to tell the difference, IIRC, the difference is the revup has shorter lower runners, not a major difference but I'm sure with newer motors come newer technology, I honestly don't know the answer to your sensor problem but figured I'd clarify on the de vs revup problem.

Well, thanks for the expertise on the subject. Now I just need to figure out if I need to install the other (non-revup ) harness and get a new computer, or if I can use what I have and modify it somehow...thanks again

You also have to change the timing cover to the revup version, same with the rear section of timing cover.
