Terrible noise when pushing clutch, HELP!
ok so i have a 03 350z with a 05 trans and a new ACT clutch and lightweight flywheel not even 2k miles yet. When i push the clutch and it hits a certain point, something sounds like its grinding terrible. when i hear the noise i pull the clutch up and the noise like winds away. I can hear it and feel it when shifting gears mainly in lower gears, but it is really loud and annoying.
here is a video i made: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-fqV...ature=youtu.be

Did you replace the throwout bearing when you did the clutch? Should have, sure sounds like a throwout bearing, the upside is pulling the trans ont eh Z33 isn't that bad of a job.

yeah i brought it to a shop and the new kit came with a throwout bearing. i brought it back and he took it apart again to see if something was wrong and he did not see anything. He said he spun the throwout bearing and it was free, but who knows maybe its a defected one. this noise just started happening after the new install, so im hoping everything transmission related is out of the picture
