So i have done some searching and cant find the info i need,

I picked up a oem lsd for a steal just the lsd not the hole pumpkin and i want to swap it into my open diff pumpkin, do i need the drivers side half shaft? Or passengers sid ? Or both to make the lsd work in a non lsd diff?

you would have come out cheaper buying a complete vlsd pumpkin. you can get them for about $250-300 and you'll spend that alone getting the backlash, etc set and installed by a shop.

with that said, i believe all you need is the driver's side stub axle for it to work with your open diff pumpkin. i think you can buy them from z1

I got it for $20 from a friend. It was worth a shot
How hard is it to set backlash and clearance?

if you have never done it before then it is not something you want to do yourself. you want a reputable transmission/drivetrain shop to do it. once you get a quote for it then you will agree with what i said earlier

Looks like i will look for a used complete lsd with pumpkin
How much could i sell just the lsd its pretty new only 10k on it
