06 Chassis with 03 Engine & Harness Swap Helo
Hello
I have spent many hours searching and am unable to find anything that will help me with this problem that I am having.
I picked up a 2006 350z shell to use as a track car. It was complete with the lack of the driveline including the engine, harness, transmission, etc. Shortly after I found a great deal on a supercharged 2003 that was written off but the engine etc was still in great shape.
I have swapped the 03 engine and harness into my 2006 shell and the problem that I am having is that the connector beside the ecu (M72-F102)on the right ride (passenger foot well) for the connection of the main body harness to the engine ecu, is pinned differently between the 03-06. my dash lights stay on with key out, etc...
I am wondering if it is possible to re-pin that connector to match the harnesses or if I will have to swap every harness from the written off car to my shell which would be a huge headache.
I am currently going through every page of the FSM to make a wiring pinout, since I don't think it exists anywhere.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
