Default 1uzfe engine swap details.

So, I have owned my 03 enthusiast for a couple of years now. I have sitting patiently and gleaning any and all information I can in terms of making my car perform better. It is pretty stock right now aside from a popcharger and a new y-pipe. I have seen all sorts of enginge swaps on these cars, but the one I have yet to see is a 1uzfe swap. The 1uz is a great motor that has a huge aftermarket. There is a company that even makes adapter plates for our transmissions. So, I come humbly and ask.... Why hasn't it been done or if it has who did it? If there is anything I have learned from this forum it is that if it has it been done yet then it probably is not worth doing. I just don't understand why nobody has at least tried a 1uz swap. Thanks!

I know nothing about the 1uz but I'm assuming that the reason is it hasn't happened is because of Price vs Reward. Also no swap kits, and wire harness issues.

Default not worth it

I was in a group of friends that were doing 1uz swaps into mk3 supras. I was doing one in a mk2 supra. You would be swapping a less powerful engine into the z. I wish i had started my swap with a lsx based engine from the beginning.

I realize it is a less powerful engine, but you can get a supercharger for a 1u for 1k where as a vq sc costs upwards of 5. Honestly I have been looking at LS swaps for quite sometime. I just like the idea of a Toyota motor in a Nissan.
