Default Engine kit suggestions?

I eventually wanna turbo my 03. Was looking at a hks stage 2 kit to build up the internals. Want a reliable car. The car has sentimental value and I wanna make it a show stopper thought the next 2 years. Haven't done a ton of research. Everyone says there product is the best. Was hoping someone on here could suggest a good place to look or maybe has had good experience with a product.
Thanks.

You need to fix that before you starting asking questions!

Kinda figured asking more experienced peoole was part of research. I know what I need was looking for products based on people's experience. Every company says there's is the best. Is asking people for reviews based on experiance not reasearch?

Would think unbiased reviews would be better then taking the word of the company trying to make money off me.

Build the motor for the turbo goals when you get there. A motor built for boost with suck for NA use.

I was planning on doing it all at once. No point in tearing it apart more then I have to. Just gonna start collecting parts now. Probably get the motor all done this winter. It's not my dd. just pull it out once and a while for fun. It only has just under 8000km on it. But figured while I out it away for winter is get the motor completely built then worry about body and accessories next winter.

What I'm looking for is experiance on good brands to go with. If anyone has had good or bad experiences with products so I can avoid those kinds of headaches.

While 'My kit' is a greddy....hands down I would have gone with a BP turbo kit.

If I was you I'd start researching those and their reviews.

Sweet thanks. I will have to check that out. Like I said. Thought I'd start here and get first hand reviews of people that have had good luck with stuff. Never know who's writing these reviews on the suppliers website. At least on here a guy can somewhat trust what people have to say. Appreciate the suggestion.

That's not entirely true, if he goes with stock or 11:1 compression it wont be that bad. As long as he runs race fuel or E-85 he can run high boost.
