Default Trans noises

My 03 is making some crazy sounds just like in this video. Its not as bad as this however mine does not go away with time and it sounds like a supercharger. Any ideas what it might be. Trans shifts smoothing and not having any issues except for what I just described.

Mine makes a slight hum while in 1st or second when im going slow. Nothing like that though.

Speaking of tranny noises mine has been making a grind/ chatter noise for a bit. Ive kept a close eye on it and it hasnt effected the clutch at all. It started with a throwout bearing noise which stopped in a couple days then became what it is now. Also it has more flywheel chatter now than it did when i first got it.

Im about to get a new clutch because this one is way to aggressive for the stock drivetrain (stage 3-6 puck). But i am just wondering if anyone has a clue on what it is.

that sounds more like diff noise to me, my buddy with a carbonetics diff and 4.08 gears had a very similar whine.

ever changed the rear diff fluid.. or checked it at that? (not trying to be a dick, just asking)

i would change the fluids on both the trans and the diff. i was running a thicker gear oil in the trans and it made the same whining until it warmed up. levels could also be a little low in either one

Definitely sounds like gear whine, but could be a slew of things. Seems to be happening only under load, and you can hear the whine bouncing around between shifts

Is it is stock, has never been modified? Stock bushings?

Agree fluid is the first thing to check.
