Hard time shifting
I have a 2008 nismo 350z with a JWT stage 2 clutch and flywheel.
During high rpms I have a hard time shifting quickly. It'll lock me out of the gear and I have to force it into the next gear. Clutch kicking works fine but when at high rpm it doesn't let me shift. Anyone else have these problems?

Just a warning - the CD009 gearbox is pretty good, but it doesn't like that sort of abuse, and you may already have given your synchro's a beating. That "clutch kick" stuff is bullsh!t and not the way to drive any car. For smooth shifts, at any rpm, you need to rev match the engine and gearbox speed, and of you do it well, you'll feel the shifter just drop into the appropriate gear like a hot knife thru butter.
If you were having a hydraulic problem, it would probably occur all the time, but nonetheless, check the fluid level in the clutch MC reservoir. Might need to be changed and bled, even if there isn't a leak. When you changed the clutch, did you also upgrade the OEM slave cylinder to the Z-Speed slave?

Out of all the M/T cars Ive owned... The Z is a bit sticky at times. Idk if its from the kid before me who probably beat it to sh**.. Or just the trans it self being touchy.
But these cars are weird because some times it shifts smoothly. Other times it sticks some. And Ive just been rolling around the block to test my repairs. I haven't even gotten on it really or tried to slam shift it. Ive gone 3/4th throttle at most so far. I cant imagine it getting any better if I did. lol
Ill find out once I get this thing on the Auto x/track days lol

See it was fine with the stock clutch. I had no issues when shifting. The problems are only occurring with the new clutch. I did not change the slave when taking off the Trans.
