350Z automatic differential parts
I'm wondering if anyone here is interested in my old differential parts. I have completely torn it down and blasted/cleaned/painted the parts, it will come with the ring and pinion, the pumpkin, pinion flange, bolts, shims, breather fitting, a gently used tube of Permatex ultra grey, and one stub axle. I had to steal one of the stub axles because I accidentally had one cut down for the wrong Quaife differential. The gears have 117k miles on them, but they look like new and the backlash is in spec with the service manual (measured before disassembly). I removed the old oil-filled bushings, which will make it a snap to install Whiteline solid bushings. See the zip attachment for photos, if anyone is interested PM me with an offer. If I don't hear anything, I will list it on eBay soon. I can provide you with the service manual and all of the torque specs, and a shopping list for the required rebuild parts. If you want, I can do a complete rebuild on it if you pay for the parts, I will have to freight ship it, as it weighs 90 lbs when complete. I have a shop press and all the tools to make sure it's right, and the experience now, including all of the noob mistakes. $1800 for a complete Quaife, ready to install. It may take a few weeks to get all of the parts together, but I can assemble it within a weekend. It will fit any year automatic Z 2003-2008. I can't change it from auto to manual, because it will need new ring and pinion gears which will require new shims, and I'm not doing that, the gears are $600 plus all of the shim calculations will make it unreasonable to do.
