Throw out bearing?
Hey quick question, i have a 03 350z touring 6 speed, and occasionally when i start up the car and keep the clutch in I'll get a grinding noise until i let the clutch out.
Then the car drives fine but if you rev the car with the clutch in you'll get the same noise/grinding and it'll go away once the clutch is let out.
Would it be the throw out bearing or pilot bearing? Doesn't majorly effect drivablity just want to fix it.

Most likely a throwout bearing, but have you had the clutch replaced or adjusted the throw on the pedal? Because when I replaced mine it actually was set to too much travel, causing the forks of the pressure plate to contact the clutch disk resulting in the symptoms you described.

Replaced the clutch no, but i just finished an engine swap from a g35 and the TOB was fine before and when i checked it before hooking the trans to the engine. How would i adjust the clutch pedal?

There's a rod that connects the pedal to your master cylinder, but if you've never adjusted it, that wouldn't be your problem.
