Default Cooling Fan issue

Strange issue here. Not sure if normal?

Once up to 98c my radiator fan will kick on, then turn off as normal. I then let the car idle about 25 minutes and the fan kicked on and off like nornal a few times. Then stayed on until I shut the car off.

Odb2 reader has my temp around 85c- 88c while the fan is on. Originally kicks on at 98c

Ac fan works properly and is off while the other fan stays on once car is warm.

The problem is isn't the fan supposed to turn off?

I thought the fan is supposed to kick on at 98c and then once the temps drop, turn off until back up to 98c?

Car doesn't appear to be overheating.

Temps are right around 86c at idle after fan kicks on at 98c

Dam thing just won't turn off..

Fans stays on at least at low speed if the AC is on. Do you have the AC on?
