Default Pilot bearing sound

Car info is a 350z hr nismo trim 2008

recently this problem has just begun I work for a plumbing company so I drive a company supplied service van 5-6 days a week and usually dont take out jasmine much during the week, this problem only occurs on cold starts until car warms up to temp, when I first turn the car on I hear a screeching noise extremely loud like a throw out bearing is going bad when I push the clutch in change gears as soon as I let off clutch it stops,I've looked into threads where they said this noise was normal (another note car has been hard to shift into gears at times, this has been going on longer then the noise and I hear a loud thump noise when shifting from 1st to second sometimes at low rpms)

I have looked into some threads but I would like some feedback from this day and age about this if any of you know whats going on as this cars 8 years old and so are most of the threads.

noise sounds like this car

Well, I'd say that's a throw out bearing. Noise with the pedal down, goes away when released.

I'm not too familiar with these cars yet, but I think the "normal" noise that people get is the rollover noise, with the clutch out. Sounds like marbles rolling around in a bowl.

My nismo doesn't sound this bad.
it has the cement mixer sound but no high pitch like this. I'd get it fixed before some grenades and destroys tranny.

OK well I'm going to book a appointment to get it fixed, does anyone have a idea of what it will cost to get it fixed should I be replacing the entire clutch or just the bearing

this noise only occurs on cold starts until cars warm.

If YOUR paying to pull the trans and dependent upon mileage I would definitely replace clutch

I have an 07 nismo. I get the same behavior as you nizmo_0385 when i drive it hard and I idle and check the TOB at stop. You can feel it in the peddle. It is not too bad, but I sense it will eventually go. I'm at 52K miles. I'm about to install a single turbo into it, so I will take care of the clutch, FW and TOB.

I'm on the flame list for this conversion. I never wanted to touch my nismo. Just seems wrong. I was going to buy a '14 370z nismo, but i'll wait a couple years. Anywho... I just want daily driver power. I don't daily drive the Z, but i'm not a HP addict.

but I got a sweet deal on an APS single turbo kit with the APS's "Optional" add-on's. for 2K, I got the kit with the APS dual exhaust and upgraded wastegate. Seller hooked me up. I had to buy a new front mount cooler. I'm just going to use my Injen intake pipes for Upper IC. The piping going to the manifolds had to get flange replacements... so far good. Oil pan spacer had to get switched out. Just working on oil sump and fuel return right now. I'm in total at 3K right now. I'm installing it myself and will get it tuned in NH by Granite State Auto. Lots of Z work has been done there. I've been taking pictures so when all is done, I'll upload it on the forums.
