Checking oil
I've always checked my oil before starting my cars or after it has sat. Had a buyer check out my Z and while motor was running he pulled the dip stick to make sure coolant wasn't mixing in. When he pulled it out while motor was on he said the reason there was oil all the way up on the stick was due to too much pressure or a going bad cylinder. Is this true? I told him the fsm says allow car to sit before checking. Little help please. Also I have been chasing oil consumption. Thanks

Lol thanks I plan to do that soon now. I have been reading the compression test doesn't test for bad valve stems but I do want to know if I have too much compression from carbon build up or if I have bad piston rings. Thanks on the confirmation on the oil check while motor is off.

Typical Craiglist experts lol
Selling a car always brings out the biggest clowns. For some reason Nissan guys are always the worst.
Especially 240 guys, I hated selling my 240's because every kid and dude in his mid or late 20's would just inspect the car and make wild claims and assumptions of the condition. Everyone of them would have this smug attitude like they were master mechanics then when they opened their mouth I was like are you fckn retarded?
At this time I was into mt 6th year of auto courses and just about to apply for my ASE very. Half of these dudes you could tell hardly even opened an engine bay. Just researched the Zilvia forum and thought they were 240 drift experts lol
