Default Mine comes on after about 50 miles...

A Z tuner told me that based on how many modifications I have made, this will not fix the problem.. and that a re-tune is needed. I have not yet tried the brillo, but I will let you guys know if it works.

It will still come on, i did it and stuffed it well. The first time just with foulers the SES light came on at 100 miles, the second time around i stuffed the foulers with brillo pad and it the light still came on at around 300. I'm going to clear the codes again and give it a third try, i read somewhere someone had done it a third time and the code hadn't come back on...

wow, i have an 06... got my test pipes installed in baton rouge... drove to new orleans that night and back to baton rouge... and then back home to shreveport the next day. still no CEL. and that was 2 1/2 weeks ago. and all we did was use the non foulers and then reset the ECU. =)

Grandmas are expert at buying these things to scrub pans, mine gets hers at walgreens or similar pharmacies. Either way it still hasn't worked for me. How would i go about resetting the ECU? Thanks

disconnect your battery over night. i too just put some metallic "lint trapper" stuff in the non-foulers, but have yet to reset my battery (which I'll probably do tonight). I'll report back once I reconnect.

well, the CEL came back on. This leads me to believe that there is no way to run test pipes on the '06-'07s without having the CEL come on

1st - no need for a overnight battery disconnect - pedal method or the less than 20 minute battery method is all that is needed to reset.

Have you scanned the car to specifically find out what the CEL is? I assume you are using the non-foulers as well?

Guys i've checked my SES light codes and it's always the same code, so i've just learned the pedal sequence to resetting the ecu. My SES light comes on at about 200 miles after the reset. I have two anti foulers on each test pipe plus the brillo pad stuffing and still get the SES light.

Sorry - if it's already been posted - what code did you get?

yeah, I'm running the same setup as pikespeak with the same problem. The only other thing I can think of is to use some type of tuning software to get the light from coming on

the wideband sensors on the 06+ makes it really hard i was thinking the only solution for now, is one of those universal 02 simulators.

This code seems to be a universal thing that scan tools at my local autoparts read p2A03. When i google it it comes out as 02 sensor bank 2 error which is the same thing the scan tool read when connected to the car.

Nothing in the code list resembles that code...can't find it, or possible repair and troubleshooting/diags.

Where there any other codes?

OK - found it..

P2A03O2 Sensor Circuit Range/Performance

That's an electrical issue...check it out...might need a sensor..

i wouldn't doubt that the prolonged exposure of the sensors to all the fumes in the testpipes messed them up. Wouldn't circuit range performance indicate that the sensor's readings are out of range and not necessarilly broken? Just quessing.

It's either a bad sensor...open circuit, bad ground, or you messed up something when removing and replacing it...
