Wow---OK...there are a bunch of steps, in checking all 4 sensors...mainly voltage and impedance based, before they get removed.

Process is kind of heavy..and there are not specific troubleshooting steps for this code...but there are other codes that have troubleshooting steps that will help.

I'll dig them out later tonight and post them..

o2_checks.pdf

See attached - one way to test the sensors for operation.

Disregard all the code references - the testing is what this is about.

We haven't seen an issue with non-foulers...they have worked every time.

I know...but it's true...tighten it really well, not with a breaker bar or anything - but GOOD and tight...tighter than you'd put on a lug nut. Somewhere in the 90-100' lbs. range.

OK - found it..

P2A03O2 Sensor Circuit Range/Performance

That's an electrical issue...check it out...might need a sensor..

Rick
I got this same code about 200 miles after I put on my test pipes and anti-foulers. It indicates that the primary O2 sensor on bank 2 (bank 2 sensor 1: primary O2 on driver-side bank?) has a range/performance issue. Did the guys putting on my TP bump the sensor or the harness or some weird ****??? Why would I have to worry about the primary O2 sensors after I put on test pipes lol

OK - so you answered all your own questions

Question 1 - answer - maybe, is anyone on this thread actually looking at your car now?

Question 2: refer to questions 1

It was more of a ticked off post than anything. Weird problem for the primary one to throw a code when it wasn't even touched

I am correct in the fact bank 2 is the driver side bank?

Edit: 07 primary sensors the same as 06?

2 sets of? I know each bank has one before the cat and after the cat, for a total of 4.

edit: Screw it, this is probably 99% the cause of not having cats. It's easier and cheaper to reset the ecu every couple hundred miles than buying new sensors that won't fix it (IE: primaries were never removed during the install of the test pipes).
