Do you guys notice when it's cold out the can gets a little milky? probably due to the condensation in the crank case which isn't burnt off.

Doubtful, I don't drive my Z often only on weekends and most of the time its short trips. I only noticed it recently with the cooler weather. I'm guessing I never did get the oil to running temps or hot enough to burn off the condensation. I need to drive it for a good hour on a hot day in FL.

Ohhh, you're FI right? I think I saw your car at PF as AJ & Jeremy were finishing it up... I have heard of crank case condensation more so with FI cars than NA...

Read your post on the catch can and oil consumption. Did catch can do anything for that problem. I have 350Z'04 with oil consumption problem.

I just finished doing mine. I got it all rigged up then realized I had the wrong Husky catch. Mine had a little "tap" looking nozzle on the bottom instead of the nipple and it was leaking air under vacuum. I ended up just getting some clear silicon and filling the valve up to stop it off. I'm letting it dry now and it should work.

Here's a pic of how I installed it.

Nicley done!

I rape my car so hard I need a two catch cans or she starts to bleed out the BOV , but only at the track, not on the street.

My husky on the left and the greddy on the right. I believe Alberto had to do the same.

Thanks, yours looks awesome!

Why did you do the greddy on the right side?

so people have been talking about putting a breather on the driver side....any pics?

also, there was another post where the guy put the black foam from a fish tank filter in the catch can instead of steel wool?

and, has anyone found a better way to mount the catch can? i really don't like the zip tie look, but i like the cheap functional idea.

The crank case pressure was so high I needed to alleviate it by installing the second catch can. Oil was coming out the BOV and spilling every where. This mod fixed everything, no damage just alot of cleaning around the engine bay, as you can see it all cleaned up.

Bad picture but the catch can I made is finally mounted.

It is mounted on the driver side right next to the thermostat housing and supercharger on my car. I will be using the inlet for the supercharger to provide vacuum to my catch can. I have also have a breather filter on my driver side cover.

I'm going to be installing one of these on the drivers side next weekend. I think I can squeeze it down and out of sight. I forget the size of the turbonetics hose normally used for crank ventilation. I think it may be 1/2"...

I bought this kit, got it ready to go, only to find out it doesn't quite work with the HR. For one, the other intake is in the way, and there are a few more tubes as well. So I wasn't sure which to hook it up to. Has anyone tried to attach a catch can on the HR?
