You can buy them at any RV/Camper store. Mount it to your frame and let it drag on the ground. You will not need any other grounding kits after that.

If you're worried about that, just put some wire loom in it. You'll be fine!

Unless it's on the headers, you really should't have a problem.

id like to see a more detailed description of what you did. it looks great, but you should post up the lengths of the wire, pictures of connecting points, cable routing, and just basic instructions. it is a diy after all, and i cant really do it myself unless i know wtf is going on / the concept of grounding, which i dont.

you did a great job though, looks great.

For anyone still interested in doing this mod, 4 gauge colored power cable can be found on this site for about $1.40 per foot. For the 10 feet you'll need it only comes up to $14.00 plus $5.00 in shipping.

Excellent info on this DIY. Here's the lengths of each ground they listed:
  • #1 - 16" - Left side of intake manifold to front of the engine.
  • #2 - 20" - Left side of intake manifold to left side chassis ground.
  • #3 - 26" - Left side of intake manifold to the negative connection of battery.
  • #4 - 30" - Rear left of intake manifold to front of engine.
  • #5 - 32" - Rear right of intake manifold to front of engine.

Done Deal DR: I bought the "Kolossus Fleks Kable" 4 Gauge Blue to match my Daytona Blue Z. In the description it tells you that it can handle up to 105 degrees C or 221 degrees F. That is perfect for the engine bay of a car.

Description: Kolossus Fleks Kable 4 Gauge Blue Power Wire features 2058 Tinned Strands of Pure Oxygen Free Copper and a new UltraFlex Matte PVC Jacket. Our new jacket allows for improved flexibility and maintains exceptional resistance to abrasion, oil, and extreme temperatures (-40 to 105 C). Capable of loads up to 150A. This product can be used in Marine applications. Price is per one foot.

Then I just followed the guide at Z-extreme after I bought a few parts from Home Depot.
