I would just be concerned in spending more money on tools than just sending it out somewhere. But I suppose if you already had a compressor, grinders, etc it would be a fun little after-work project. *sigh?* I just wish I could get someone to do mine for less than 300 bones.

You dont need a Compressor, a regular variable speed hand drill will do.
You will also need an aluminum polishing kit like this ( http://www.princessauto.com/tools/po...-polishing-kit) approx $24.99
and a few grinding discs/wheels as well.
and lastly...you will need a lot of time, patience , sweat , and more time!!!!
I have to say, I laughed when I saw this picture. I have the exact same die grinder and the exact same polishing kit. I could go to the garage and take the same picture right now.
