Cam shaft position sensor
I am having the same problems that many other have experienced with the cam shaft position sensor and the crank shaft position sensor. Nissan regional and I spoke on the phone because my car doesnt fall in to the VIN numbers associated with the recall but the dealership wants 600$ to replace three sensors. I am planning to do it myself instead, but I was wondering if anyone who has already replaced all three sensors recommended any specific brand of sensor or if I should just get the ones from autozone. Has anyone had any more trouble with the sensors they bought? I feel like nissan should be responsible for the defective part that was put in so many cars, but the regional manager wasn't having it when I tried to convince her. Any recommendations would be appreciated.
symptoms: trouble starting, TCS and SlIP Lights on and my car shut off going down the road..

In my limited experience, I had a trouble code that identified the sensor and which bank it was on. Have you actually done the diagnostics to confirm that all three sensors need to be replaced, or is this what the dealership told you? In my case, I was competing at Gateway International in St. Louis and ended up going to an area Infiniti dealer to replace the bank 1 cam position sensor.
After that, the race car ran fine and I was able to compete the following day.

I have had the SES code read and I took it to the nissan dealership and they diagnosed it. They said they recommend replacing all three sensors. I have already replaced the cam shaft position sensor less than a year ago though.
