Default Installing an oil catch can

Installing an oil catch can in a 350Z

Tools required-
Hacksaw and file
Jig saw (for trimming engine cover)
10 and 12 mm wrenches
oil and wax remover
paper cutter
Flat screwdriver
Drill with ¼ and 5/16” bits

Items required -
oil catch can
24 inches of 1/8 by 1 inch flat steel (to make brackets)
Paint for brackets
molded hose (to make it look OEM) . Use the hose that comes with the kit if you want.

Procedure -
Remove the engine cover. Place the can approximately where you want it. The only place I could find where there was room was just behind the radiator beside the top rad hose.
Find a couple of mounting points (bolts) on the block. Take some tin and mock up some brackets. Make the brackets; this is the hardest part of the job, probably require some rework till you get it right.
Mount the can Put the engine cover on and trim as necessary. Remove the cover. Remove the hose between the PCV valve and intake manifold. Run the hoses from the catch can, one to the PCV valve, the other to the intake manifold. The pictures in this case are truly worth a thousand words.
