Default another slow 2jz build

Whats up guys,
Just figured I'd share what I'm up to.

Well the story with this car is I got it as a daily driver back in 2012 with the intent to just maintain it and drive it. Well here I am now typing this and the itch has got to me. Coming from 2 previous s14's, one being stock NA zenki and the other being a KA-T with gt2871r I decided I wanted a newer chassis to cruise around in, thus leaving me with the decision of purchasing a 2003 350z 6 speed.

Before I jump into the build and plans here's a few pics of my last s14(240sx) and some Z pics
S14

Some pics of the Z that I will be working on and swapping the 2jzgte into

When I first bought her, terrible wheels changed to stock a week later

Tried a carbon fiber nismo v1 for a while, sold it

Interior shot

And how she now sits,

Now onto the build

Parts list so far.
JDM 2jzgte front sump motor set
Borg Warner s366
Boost lab oil kit
Cx racing T4 turbo manifold
All oem gaskets and seals
timing belt oem
Usdm water pump
Drift motion pulleys
Dayco serpentine belt
New ngk spark plugs
K&n iacv filter
Power house racing oem oil filter cooler delete union bolt
Blitz bov
Still need; waste gate ands other misc things

Fuel:
DW 300 pump
-6 fittings female(6)
-6 20ft black nylon hose
-6 to 5/8 stock hard line adaptor(using the stock hard line for feed
Cj motor sports fuel return correction kit for 350Z
Aeromotive FPR
-6an fittings to utilize stock fuel rail
-6an driftmotion GM fuel filter

Cooling:
Oem thermostat
3" FMIC core
Stock 350Z radiator
Still need to get;
Deral 2200cfm pusher fan(since I'll be left with next to no room up front)
FMIC piping and couplings

Drive train ;
CD009 350z 6 speed transmission
Still need to get; 350z trans to 2jz adaptor kit with single puck clutch and drive shaft.

Suspension;
Stance gr coils
Stillen sway bars
I will install these after motor is in
Along with other things to come.

On to the 2jz pics

Here's the day I picked it up 2 weeks ago

Putting it into my friends 86'Toyota pick up with Chevy small block V8

Got home late so left it on the skid for the night

Got it on the motor stand the next morning

Twins off(were in perfect shape)

My work area

Usdm water pump installed along with all timing components and seals/gaskets

Very clean I must say I lucked out

Thought I stripped the oil pump threads but luckily it was just the screw

Then this came

Installed the oil lines, but had to trim the return due to the shitty cx racing manifold I'm using.

Installed the GE coolant pipe to eliminate the coolant mess the gte pipe leaves one eliminating the twins.

And this I'd where I'm at right now

Did you have to remove the studs to get that manifold on? Are those shortened studs?

I still have to text you, which I will do in a few minutes ha. I would add Titan billet tensioner, Titan modified timing gear, Titan pulley, and if doing cam gears Titan as well. They seem quite costly up front, but will keep you from having any sort of headache with them in the future. Engine looks pretty clean though, good luck with it all.

How much power are you looking for?

Ok so I haven't updated this but I'm days away from starting it.I have the Collins adaptor kit installed with a JWT street clutch and hoke performance shifter bracket.for the shaft masters drive shaft coming along with a universal race harness to get it started.fuel is ran ands hidden as much as possible behind the secondary fire wall and fmic was just installed along with my shortened and machined throttle body.I also had to modify the stock pedal to accept a stock 2jz throttle cable.let me know what you guys think.

That's what I got for now...

looks great! How were you able to bolt it up to the CD00x oem Z trans? and were you able to use a 350z flywheel/clutch with this setup?

Well I started it last weekend and three the drive shaft in last night.waking up to get the BOV flange welded tomorrow along with wiring in the fuel pump, start signal, and ignition 12v tomorrow properly and then just have to fix the oil return leak I have from the stupid AN fitting.
Btw need to get a dp made to mount the 02 sensor since I'm stock everything but turbo. Collins adaptor kit with custom flywheel and pilot bearing adaptor z clutch and pressure plate.
