How much of a technical problem would it be to put a 2008 used 350z motor into a 2006 350z.

ecu, wiring harness, i believe the engine is a little wider and definitely taller, so you would need a new hood, the radiator support in your car isn't setup to handle the dual intakes, not sure if the de trans would work on the hr motor.....

i don't think you can do it cheaply, could it be done.... with enough time money and cussing i am sure it could be

Cheaper and much easier to sell the 06 and buy an 08.

Really only worth it if you have a built race chassis and you don't want to start over building a new chassis up to spec ( cage, sound deadning removal , wire harness removal)
