The Playstation Store finally has Tekken 5 available to download. Its reasonably priced at $19.99. To bad there is no multiplayer feature but its a must download for all you Tekken fans.
yeah its cool, i got it almost 2 months ago for $15. i went over to my brothers house tonight and we plated VF5 for liek 15 mins then broke out tekken for the rest of the night.

also notice how the rounds will be uneven. he will own you the first the be easier the 2nd.
i was able to beat him on Hard with bryan fury. i couldnt beat him at a higher difficulty than that
yeah you kinda have to keep playing until he lets you win. reminds me of m. bison. in fact this whole game reminds me of SF for some reason (third strike more than anything else). the character design is awesome and the gameplay is tight like it should be. a game worth $60 selling for $20. gotta love that.

What I like about Tekken is that the mechanics are close to 2D fighting games and it doesn't take itself too seriously... panda, rojer jr., my all-time favorite is Gon
Anyone know why there are only 3 endings???!!!?? WTF? Lame! Atleast give me some text and a picture!
The changing uniforms are ok but some of the stuff is super ghey like the 150,000 for devil wings and they are like tiny toy wings as opposed to the big ones you would expect!
Love how the game ratchets up the difficulty based on your rank on each character. Tight. It pretty much copies online play. In fact this is the most human AI I have ever played. Take out the missing lag and it feels like im playing DOA on xbox live sometimes (usually when im getting my ass handed to me on ultra hard lol)

When using King I remember doing a down +kick that would do a low kick then you could do I think it was right punch to do a nice punch to the gut that would make the guy fall over. Did they remove that?

They tweaked/removed alot of things from older tekken games and +1 on the lack of a training mode. The only guys im good with anymore are hihachi, baek and howrang (sp).
OK so what is the highest ranking in ghost mode? Tekken king? Dark Master? Deity? Dragon King? They all are pretty hard and block a ton. This is where the game shines imo, pure take your shirt off dislocate your fingers, vein busting, couch punching gameplay baby.
Uhhggg it came out just in time for my day off....Pretty much all i've done the last couple of days. The only problem I have is that i'm too cheap to shell out 50 bucks for another controller, that and my roomate is a doa guy. An AI will never match playing another person. You can't play headgames with an AI.
+1 on no practice BTW. I can't even use the ol 2p practice mode since i only have one controller
When tekken 6 comes out we'll have a sick 350z tourney.
