Finally... National Geographic Channel in HD!

For those of you like me with DirecTV who have the HD pckg... Tune in or set your HD-DVR to record a sneak peak at 2:30am cst.

Otherwise on Thursday March 8 channel 77 will surely be a much welcome addition to HD!

I had this for over a year on Dish Network, I thought DirecTV already had it

I personally can't get enuff of the NG channel already! Their shows are so incredibly informative and visually stunning! HD will make it even more so.

yeah just about all I watch is History, HisIntl, Discovery, Disc Sci, and NG

The best they ever shown was the Discovery Atlas series, everything else is nothing great, but I believe they are stepping up there HD series stuff

Nope unfortunately. Something about licensing agreements that Dish had. But... Me hears that come this Fall, DirecTV will become the HD authority with several new satellites going online.
