Default Forget the Wii, is the DS completely sold out in your area?

I've been looking for a DS around my area stores and so far, all of them have been sold out (yes, they're online but I'd rather do B&M). Circuit City, CompUSA, Microcenter, EB, Gamestop, et. al., everywhere I've looked, they've been out of the DS (in some cases, they haven't seen a new shipment in weeks, according to the employees).

One can't help but wonder if Nintendo is controlling shipments to the retail channel to artificially extend the demand level for the Wii and DS. I smell conspiracy! Call Oliver Stone!

The DS and the PSP should adopt a method were you can attach a soft joystick to the directional button so you don't tear your thumb when playing, that's the one thing that I love about the console controllers, is that they have that soft thumb stick for directional.
