Default Logitech Harmony 880 remote review.

http://www.handsonkitchen.com/forum/...te-review-391/

If anyone is in the market for a remote, I just did a write up of the Harmony 880. Pictures and all.

I bought one of these in december and loved it so much that I got another one for my bedroom. Easy to program and works perfect.

is this the top of the line Harmony? is it considered the best "budget remote"?

edit: never mind, looks like the 1000 is the top of the line harmony

I look at the 880 as the top of the line for the lower end. once you get up to $400+ you get into a few other brands. IMO the bottom of the higher end. Also you start seeing things like RF.

We have two @ our house now, and have bought one for each of the parents. It's not much of a learning curve either so they've gotten along with the remote fairly well.

We have(550, and 659)
The parents each have a 670

You can setup I think a delay or maybe the time it sends the signal, it's in the setup menu.

some devices are fast from the get go, others you have to tweek that setting.

I have one and i've never even used it. I honestly don't think it's much of a hassle to use more than one remote.
So if someone wants to buy mine lemme know.

Ive had mine for over a year, one of the best purchases I've made! Consolidated about 4 different remotes and can turn your entire system on or off with the push of one button!

It's not so much a hassle as it is to have a clean setup. I hate how my coffee table had 5 remotes on it. plus it is nice having single touch turn ons/offs for all items.

haha. Once it comes out, I'll definitely be picking one up. Right now I have too many remotes:

PS3 BT remote
Cable STB
HT receiver
TV(rarely used though)
