I just saw this trailer while watching "Kröd Mändoon and the Flaming Sword of Fire", and just from the trailer alone I can tell this WILL be the best movie of all time.

Wow, Chebosto. I might not have recognized Devastator as being the giant Sahara Shop-Vac, but even I know that your JSF robot is actually an SR-71 robot, and therefore JetFire. I figured you of all people would recognize the difference between the two cockpits. It seems as though they gave JetFire the robotic equivalent of a beard, and have him using something as a cane. I guess JetFire is going to be the wise old man of the autobots. I hope that they pull it off well.

As far as the Red and Green robot, I think that image is of one red autobot, and the smaller green Chevy Beat autobot (Skids?) in the background.

Because that's what they decided to do? All I know about this robot is that it's a SR-71 Blackbird. The going rumor is that JetFire is supposed to be a SR-71 Blackbird. So... I figure this is JetFire.

I'll withhold postulation and judgment on how well it works out to have him as some kind of old-timer robot, although; didn't one of the original storylines for JetFire have him working for Megatron and being friends with Starscream before war broke out on Cybertron?

edit: Well, a quick Wiki check confirms that throughout the various story line continuities for JetFire/SkyFire, they all have him as a Decepticon before becoming an Autobot. So, maybe that's why he looks like a Decepticon. Here's another good pic of him crutching around like an old-timer from the Wiki page:

Wow, the Transformers must have the most convoluted story lines ever. Jetfire is portrayed as someone different nearly every iteration. And most of those, he's destroyed in some way.

Jetfire was a science officer with Starscream back on Cybertron... when the war broke out against the autobots and decepticons, jetfire was on a science mission and crashed in the artic and didn't know and was was played by Starscream to become a decepticon before being backstabbed and giving his life up to save the autobots..

i wonder how bay is gonna do this one-

yea. you're right resolute. didn't see the cockpit. just the slant angles of the vertical stabilizers i thought it was a JSF robot due to this toy coming out:

All good points , Bay should at least know the history of jet-fire or other wise he would not have included him ?

Maybe for the first part of the film he works for the decepticons then comes to senses sp and beats the crap out of all of them.

Have a bad feeling Prime is not going to far well with out help in this one.
