Just wondering who has tried the demo and what you think of it.
I think the game looks a lot better and seems to play a lot better. I don't particularly care for a couple of the new zombies, but at least more variety will make things more interesting. Still, I fail to see how the jockey will ever be fun in versus....
The demo, on the other hand, seems pretty empty. It's over too quick and doesn't give enough of a taste of what the game will be like. No versus play really stinks. That's what I played 90% of the time in the original and I wanted to see if they made any changes.
Doesn't affect the fact that I'm still getting the game, but it would have been nice to be able to pop the hood before I buy the car.
I agree with you on the demo. It ended much too quick to enjoy anything and I stopped playing it. The secondary weapons are a lot more fun though, rather than the original dual pistols. As goes for the jockey, I'll wait and see in multiplayer just how interesting it gets.
Gameplay seemed to have changed a lot judging from the short demo though. I'm sure I'll enjoy L4D2 as much as the original, especially with some of the changes.
I never even played the original L4D, and forgot about it honestly. I started hearing a bunch of buzz about l4d 2 a few weeks ago, so I tried out the demo. I liked it a lot personally. Looks to be a lot of fun online, and I reserved a copy when I picked up modern warfare2 last week. Lol I barely got to get deep into Forza 3 and now I have MW2 and this to keep me busy.

I went to the midnight release last night for it, I think there was a total of like 15 people there. Out of those fifteen 10 of them were there for Star Trek release and Assassins Creed 2. Played for a little over an hour last night, its even more fun than the first one. Problem is I'm not tired of MW2 yet, and probably wont be for a long time. So when my girl is home and wants to play L4D2 is probably the only time I will be playing.
New guns and having the option to equip laser sights is cool though. Tons of new enemies and the game is much, much harder. You start out with just a pistol or melee weapon and you have to find other weapons later on. I only played through the mall level but think the game is going to provide a lot of hours of entertainment.
I've been saying the same thing...whenever we go online, I'm constantly doing the louis "Grabbin' some peeeelzz.." As for the game itself..holy crap, its a lot harder this time around.
