I dont think the crossed the line.As I recall when the first Modern Warfare came out there were some people asking did Infinity Ward go to far with a game where you mostly killing arabs when in real life we were doing just that.In this day and age nothing really surprises people anymore. So i think they really had to push the envelope on Modern Warfare 2.
Its a game take it easy, I thought about not shooting on the airport scene i was like this is wrong, waited about 10 seconds Fugg it started blasting innocent civilians. Its just a game there is no line to be crossed.
I don't think it's in bad taste at all. I applaud Infinity Ward for taking a neutral position and presenting this from different perspectives, instead of only protagonizing the US and its allies like in the first MW. To call someone your enemy without knowing who they are or where they came from is just plain ignorant, and sadly that's how the majority of the US is with war on terrorism and in Iraq. I think the airport massacre and DC invasion missions teach an important lesson in humility.
That aside, what do you think about GTA4?

Didn't you have to click on the warning at the beginning of the game that said that there were some levels that would offend people. So if you clicked yes and wanted to play those levels you shouldn't be complaining you had the option to click no and not play the offensive levels. So infinity ward covered there tail with that warning imo so there shouldn't be any backlash at all. plus this is a game why do people take it so seriously
I think it was in good taste. Even if you stopped to think about it for a second, it proved you have a conscience. Welcome to combat, at least you could skip/reset if you didn't want to see it.

Pretty much how I felt lol. I was like is this bad?
Hell, they ask you from the get go if you are easily offended... I see nothing wrong
