Default Assassin's Creed II

Just got the game yesterday (and Dragon Age, which I havent even opened yet)...and so far it's amazing. If anyone has played the first one, and really liked it, I highly recommend getting this and playing it ASAP.

I killed my first assassin mark last night right before I went to bed, so I won't spoil too much, but I will say you can fight outside of the animus, and you have armor/weapons and such you can BUY now instead of having to "earn"... pretty intriguing story so far, can't wait to play it after work today!

18 hours in ATM and the story is amazing! Their are so many things about the story that keep you wanting to play! As for the OP wait till you start finding "20 pieces".... you will know what this is later on!!! I mean upgradeable armor, TONS of weapons, building an empire, and the story just makes this game amazing! Would def. recommend it!

How are the missions and the way they are set up and given to you? One of the biggest flaws of the first game was that it was the same basic mission structure over and over again.

Sounds like theyve made it more like Thief: Deadly Shadows...good move. I was disappointed with the 1st one, mostly because I was so hyped to play it. This one is starting to drag me in, but I have so many other games I want too..ugh.

I was told I couldn't buy anymore games I might have to sneak this one in under the radar and act stupid.

LOL..i was told the same thing, but I think I saw a crack in the armor...she sighed last night and said she hated October and November because she knows Im going to buy 5 or 6 new games...so far Im only at 2. So, using logic (which fails with women...especially of the wifely sort), I have at least 3 more new games I can buy.

Wish me luck...i sense a "beg forgiveness" over "ask permission" moment coming up.

I picked it up after work last night and agree, it's phenomenal. It took me a couple minutes to get used to the controls since I haven't played AC1 for over a year. After the first scene as Ezio (I think that's his name) I knew it was a very polished versio of AC1. I haven't had my first hit yet but looking forward to it after work tonight. Did anyone get it from GS and download the Splinter Cell demo?

If you make the money, and pay the bills in the household; then next time your wife says something to you just slap her in the face and say STFU, it's my house!

I do that to my g/f when she acts dumb...

I'm totally j/k, that would be a bad idea...but you should do it anyway, and post what happens

I thought the first game had a great concept, but was extremely repetetive. How does the second one compare?

Yeah, I could never get into the first one. I loved the fighting and the moving around the environment, but could never figure out what I was supposed to be doing and just got bored with it.

I was hoping they would realize what was wrong with the first game...I think I'm going to have to pick it up then....ugh. I've already bought Forza, MW2, and Left 4 Dead 2 this month lol.

ENDING IS EPIC!!!!!!!!!!

By FAR the most shocking video game EVAR!!!!!!

I am seriously surprised this has not made the news yet.
MW2 has the airport scene, where you kill innocent people. And it was all over the net about how controversial it was.
That is NOTHING compared to AC2
