Probably the first "must-see film for me of 2010. Solid cast w/ Benicio Del Toro, Anthony Hopkins, Emily Blunt, and Hugo Weaving.
Story looks really good and of course the effects and makeup look spectacular!
Legion
Extraordinary Measures
Tooth Fairy
Book of Eli
Spy Next Door
Leap Year
Edge of Darkness
When in Rome
Dear John
From Paris With Love
Valentine's Day
Wolfman
Daybreakers-Was going to be a summer release but they decided to release in Jan. for the chumps to go pay for it.
Jan/Feb are always the release dates for terrible films the studios know suck.
And don't tell me to get out of your thread.....I'm voicing my opinion....just b/c it doesn't agree with yours doesn't mean squat.
What are you talking about. The Wolfman is a classic, I'm definitely gonna check out the remake. I'm glad Universal is rebooting all of their classic Monster movies. Frankenstein, The Wolfman, Dracula, Creature from the Black Lagoon!
I checked it out on opening night and liked it. couldn't sit still enough to watch the original but this one was done pretty well. The feel of the movie and settings are very nice and set the mood perfectly. The story was meh at best and I'm assuming a carbon copy of the original movie which would've wowed back then but doesn't hold up to well now.
The chemistry between Del Torro and Blunt was lacking but Anythony Hopkins held his own. It was bloody without being gimicky** and the action scenes were cool. Hugo did ok with his role but I can't seem to shake his V and Agent Smith voice..
All in all rent it, it's worth it if it's a slow weekend and nothing else is on. (read the weekend after the Super Bowl)

my wife and I went to this over the weekend. We don't go to many movies, but she likes the classic stories and loves the horror. She liked it, I thought it was OK. Great movie for rental or even a bargain matinee, but barely worth a full price ticket. I really don't want to make it sound like a bad movie, but I guess my expectations were a bit high on this one

Wolfman sucked balls! I don't fall asleep in movies much often but this one was a snooze. Almost as bad as Avatar.
Day Breakers=cheesy at it's best. 1 out of 5 stars
Percy Jackson, The lightning thief= I liked it but it did seem a bit "made for TV-ish" It had potential but kinda fell short.
