The sudden "loss of interest" or "just didn't finish" of games lately? I can list the names of games that I suddenly lost interest and never completed that I've bought of the past few years. Infamous, Modern Warfare 2, Eternal Sonata, Tales Of Versperia, Arkham Asylum, Assasins Creed II, Dead Space, Midnight Club LA, Killzone 2, Lost Planet, Assualt On Dark Athena, Last Remnant, Far Cry 2, Gears Of War 1 and 2, Saints row 2, Valkyria Chronicles. All of those I bought new, were all great games, and adds up to nearly 1100 bucks.
The ones I've beaten and played a ton were Bad Company (till I broke the disc), Fallout 3, Dragon Age, Rainbow Six 1 and 2, GTA IV, Saints Row 1, Mass Effect 1 and 2. Am I the only like this? I remember back the the day I'd play a game for years until I'd stop playing them.
I don't think games are all that special anymore - being older, you can buy as many as you can afford so it's easy to jump from one to the next. *shrug* I've been doing a good job at beating games lately. ;-)

Thats what I'm thinking. I remember getting like one or two games a year and having to make a good choice because I knew I'd be stuck with them forever. Was pretty good at it until I picked Superman 64.
I find myself wanting to hop back on ACII but I pop in FM2 and drift or race till I'm bored or pop in Skate 2 and play that. I beat MW2 and the story is actually pretty good for those who haven't finished yet. I still have to pick up the new FF and Splinter Cell comes out next month. There goes $120

I have this problem with every single game I play except those of the Grand Theft Auto series. I typically come back to them though a few months later and pick up where I left off and ultimately beat the game.
I don't know how anyone hasn't completed MW2 (if they own it). It's ****ing outstanding.
MW2 was TERRIBLE!!! I actually quit playing it for a while when they

brought captain price back. The MW series I'm afraid is going to suck from here on out now. Unless they get rid of Price and come up with a truly new storyline, I'll never play another MW campaign again. MW1's campaign was infinity times better.
I have a couple of games that I haven't beaten yet, but I am trying to only buy games that I really like or have been waiting for. MW2 single player was ok, I liked Dead Space better. IMO.
