CentexVQ participated in the Austin Mean Streets auto show this past Memorial Day weekend. We had a huge area all to ourselves with plenty of room to line up, setup tents, BBQ, relax, and have a couple of beers. We had a great turnout at the show and before the night was over we took home 5 trophies, including best club.
The weather was perfect for most of the show, but later on the rain clouds rolled in and things looked bad. We almost got rained on, but with a little quick thinking we avoided the downpour just before it started by parking under a huge barn.
Ricky and I had to convince the owner to let us park there (he was very upset and in the process of kicking 4 other people out), but after talking with him for 3 minutes he changed his mind and let us in. The rest of the cars in the show realized what we were doing and soon after the entire show followed us into the barn, unfortunately it was too late for them and they all got soaked.

22. This is the G35 that won 1rst place. He was not part of our group and I tried talking with him early in the show, but he was not very friendly.
DANG good turnout guys. I wish I didn't have to work or else I would have joined See you guys in June.
