Japanese Nostalgic Car & Club RX-7 Meet Pics - Featuring an RB-Powered S30!
I was able to attend both of these meets in one night a few weeks ago and snapped some photos of the cars that showed up, enjoy!
Starting off with one of the baddest S30's I have ever seen
Fender flares, fender mirrors and a classic set of SSR's, what could be better?
The heart of the beast, RB26!
Closeup of the fender mirrors
This classy NSX showed up too on a clean set of Gold Advans
Another NSX
My friends FB RX-7
Dirty but badass 86
Widebody S-Chassis
I then headed over to the RX-7 Meet on the other side of town
My buddy Jeff from Micro-Image showed up with his new BRZ
Notice that he already deleted the rear bumper and added a Berk single-exit exhaust extension
Then Jose brought over his RX-3
Classic vinyl and lip spoiler
Cool retro interior
Classic set of BBS's
Notice the subtle rear spoiler as well
This one is Rotary-powered
The rest of the photos like always can be found on my blog:

Some cool and very nice cars there! I would drive any of those as I like them all and they are all clean! I am going to have to say though that I think my first choice out of all of those would have to be the Z with the RB swap as it looks to be done super cleanly. Thank you for sharing
Thanks,

I also had a chance to take a video of the RX-3, sounded pretty cool
This is his Hako
No problem, glad you liked it

It must be hell cleaning those wheels, though.

I still have my 260 in the garage collecting dust and webs. Isn't that the normal way these projects go, though?
I'm thinking that if I time this well, the car will be in the shop over the winter getting work done on it little by little.

What I would do to find an RX3 to rebuild. Was my first car to work on with my father. We used to go to Hunts Points in the Bronx every sunday for the races. Good times for sure. Was the first car to get me into cars built from ground up. Damn near impossible to find them in NY now.
