Default McLaren - Palo Alto, CA

This isn't really an "event" per se, but I did snap some pics when I was out in California a while ago

Quick backstory: I was visiting family in Palo Alto and we randomly drove past this dealership one day. As we passed by, I thought I caught a quick glimpse of a P1. I immediately made plans the next day to go check things out. Turned out they had two on the showroom floor. I ended up spending about an hour and half peeking in every nook and cranny of both of them.

The black one was still for sale, but the red one was sold about a month ago. They had been storing it for the owner while his was on business somewhere in the Middle East (sounded about right).

I can check the 918 and now the P1 off my list to see, but I still need to track down a LaFerrari...somehow

Not the best pictures, but still thought I'd share:

There's one at one of my clients' sites and I see it fairly regularly. Psh, only in Silicon Valley....

But yeah, drive by that dealership all the time. Have never wanted to venture in lest I decide to sell all of my worldly belongings to buy one. And say bye-bye to wifey in the process... "You did WHAT?!? Whatdya mean 'magic beans'?!?"

It was so random driving by it, I wish I had a better (or actual camera) with me, but that red still looks soooo good.

You're not kidding about Silicon Valley. Around here and down in Atlanta, I'll see maybe 1-2 Teslas (Tesli, Teslaeses?) every few weeks. Out there, it was closer to 1-2 out of every 5 cars. If I had a wife, I would totally be willing to give up one of her kidneys for that car
