Default Abdominal Cramping

So here is what's up, when I am working out, cardio, weights, whatever, my muscles are fine and good. However whenever I work out my abs, whether before or after lifting or cardio, I get bad cramping and can't do anymore ab work. I keep myself plenty hydrated and nutrient filled, but this always happens, but only to the ab muscles. It's not that they are weak or exhausted, I know that feeling, I am able to do more, but as soon as I start, my abs cramp. Any remedies, causes, or tips that you suggest would be greatly greatly appreciated.

Are you stretching them really good before you work them? Lay on your stomach & do a push up with your body bowing toward the ground, or try one of those exercise balls. to lay on & stretch out on.

I only feel like puking when I drink a lot of water during work out, but never cramp. Would never hurt to just try less water during workout though.

Maybe its t3h aids.

Seriously though, maybe try some other stretches like Upward Dog and a few light ab exercises to get some good blood flow to the area. I only really cramp if I don't drink enough water beforehand.
