Wash your hands every time you're done. Are you taking any supplements that may cause such side effects? Everyone is different and not every one can react the same to certain supplements.

Don't touch your face until you wash your hands either. I see so many peeps do **** like use their hand as a tissue and then pick up a set of dumbbells.

I use the antibacterial alcohol stuff all the time now.
I've been taking White Flood (NO product)
Purple Wrath (half dose) Aminos
Green Mag (Creatine)
Animal Pak on lift days....centrum on non lift
Ever since I started hitting the gym 5-7 times a week, I've been getting facking lung infections like they're going out of style.
4 separate times end of last year and 1 this year so far (working from home today).
Anyone experience the same? Good news is that it forces me to rest, but I HATE not going to the gym!
If I had to hazard a guess, I'd say you are chronically overtrained and your immune system is consequently compromised. You grow when you rest (and eat), the weights are just the catalyst to that growth. You should be factoring in scheduled breaks in your training routine every so often.

I know......but I honestly love the gym and feel weird when I don't go. I'm trying to drop weight (210-215) 6'0 and build strength at the same time LOL.
I mean..... Lifting every other day should give my muscles rest. While hitting cardio in between should hit fat reserves.
So....I kinda feel weak and shatty still today. Last time I got sick, I felt so-so for about a week and got pissed off that is wasn't just hitting me hard. So....I busted out the elliptical for 1000 calories and the next day I had a 101 fever haha.
So to get this thing going today......I went to the doc, got some antibiotics and MURDERED myself on legs (always my most intense days). I felt weak, cold and was shaking the entire time LOL. Might as well get it over with.
