Lifts are getting better and pecs / legs are getting bigger.
Military press was at 115 lbs vs. my weak ass 80 lbs a while back. Squats are much better, but its still kind of early to start making assessments yet. I'm thinking in about 2 weeks with my new diet / bulk **** properly laid out that I should see some nice gains.
Good stuff captain keep at it, man. The more i lift the more i'm convinced that im a moderatly easy gainer. I seem to keep gaining muscle mass.....compartively speaking. I see a couple of guys that have been traning about the same exact amount of time i have with a trainer and haven't made as good results as me. Then i again i don't know what they do on their free time but im not on a diet either and i do drink, lol. We will see though how the next 4 to 6 months go....maybe i will hit a plateau, lol.
ya when you starve your body for calroies, it goes into storage mode. so when you finally flood it with calories, you put on a ton of weight. every time i competed, i put on 15-20pounds by the next day.
i did a workshop with Scott Abel. the guy who trains Greg Kovacs, among many other top competitors. and he actually uses a method like this, just for putting on weight. you calculate your BMR. then eat just enough calroies everyday, to sustain your BMR. you do this for 2 weeks-month, cant remember exactly. and then you gorge hard for a weekend. eating as much as possible. and a bigger guy can easily gain 30 pounds in a weekend.
