My new toy
Got my self an early birthday present for when the gym is packed or there are other complications preventing me from going.
The whole rack was $299.99 from Newyork Barbell... still don't have all my plates racked on it though.
Probably the cheapest cage out there... but it seems to be fairly high quality. No wobbles or squeaks (I've only put up to 185 on it so far though)
Anyways, thought you guys could appreciate something like this.

NICE. Power rack is all you need, if you like to work-out at home. With the adjustable bench, you can do just about everything on that ( squats, front squats, bench/incline bench, military press, shrugs, wide chin-ups, etc. ). All you need is some 45lb plates and some rubber floor mats to do deadlifts.

Thanks.
Yeah, I need to pick up some 45 lb plates. Keeping my eye out on Craigslist because thats were I found all the plates I currently have as well as a set of 35 lbs rubber-coated plates for wayyyyyyy cheaper than all the sporting goods stores charge around here.

What's the towel all about? Are you one of those guys that uses the towel because the bar hurts their shoulders?

Yeah, True mass containers are shaped differently, a little bit larger in shape, 5.75lbs to 2.91lbs of Syntha6.

I was just using it for my calf raise sets.
I don't squat with the towel, but after my 5 sets of squats and 3 sets warm-ups, my shoulders were a bit sore.

congrats on the power rack man, you're pretty much all set now for a home gym, just get some more plates. Once you start working out at home, you'll never want to deal with going to a gym again
. BTW, how do you like that ironmaster adj bench?

Ok, Lebron...
New York barbell is great, they are 5 minutes from my place and are always very helpful.

Not watching sports does have it's downsides. I never get the jokes.

It's pretty solid. You can do all the necessary stuff, flat... incline... decline (like this one for abs) etc. The one thing I love about it is the number of attachments. So far I just have the dip and ab attachment, but I've been eying the leg extension one.
