This is an old thread, but the 350Z has not sprouted an a/c filter yet. But many other Nissan and Infiniti models do have cabin air filters and there's a tendency (even among pros) to think all these front midship (FM) vehicles share ALL thrir features.

The best solution? Just laugh at them and tell them you know better. If they get indignant, make a cash bet and have them do a visual tear down while you watch.
