it appears no one has attempted the TS diffuser installation with the rear bumper tucked.
i have looked it over and i am going to fabricate a custom bracket that will tie into the rear bumper support so the top portion of the diffuser will have something to bolt to. i think when i am done it will have a different but more aggressive look. will post pic's when i am done. but for now here is a pic with just the diffuser sitting under my Z.

Yes I have it. Needed to hack the diffuser to make it fit. Make sure you are good at body work, or take it to a shop.

This is a long-shot and a 4-year resurrection, but any chance you a) are still an active member on these boards, and b) have pictures of this setup?

BUMP

Anyone know if this diffuser will fit with the Fujitsubo legalis-R exhaust? I'm concerned because the tips are large (117mm I believe) and the muffler hangs low. It's an OEM style (i.e. single) exhaust piping arrangement, just larger piping, larger tips, and differently shaped muffler. Here are a few pics showing the muffler:

Any insight would be appreciated!

I agree. Yours does looks as if it hangs a bit low...so I'd be cautious

Installed my diffuser today. I have the HKS replica, I had no cutting to do. I took off the bumper and fitted the diffuser on and then put the bumper back on.

Wow thanks dude. Your google skills far surpass mine because I must have looked for an hour and still didn't find that picture.

May just be the angle of that pic, but I'm not really digging how that looks. Almost like the tips stick too far out or something. Oh well...it's in the FedEx on its way to me so I will find out soon enough. Hopefully this doesn't turn into me springing for a new exhaust :/

don't worry man, i have the large tip legalis R and the diffuser and it looks good.

i did have to cut about 2" away right around the main pipe as it was rubbing.
