Better than most of the useless material discussed within the Lounge.

Exactly. I could be pulled over in Chicago. Given a 60 - 75 dollar ticket (Whatever the going rate is these days). Drive another 45 minutes into Indiana and police could care less about my window tint.

I'm sure it's hard to tell the difference between 25% and 10% at night. Both are pretty much pitch black.

You should petition to have the 10th Amendment repealed then...

IMO, it'd be better as a sticky in the Exterior subforum.

But Top 100 is good.

Net = Total tint % (Film + Stock window tint)
Film = Tint level of film only.

Thanks!

Whoo-Hoo! I've got 30% (allows 70% light) all around!

The thing is...we can still get pulled over for the tint! It's not like Bacon has a device that measures tint....And how well does local Bacon know this law? Last time I got pulled-over the CHP was harassing me about having my windows rolled down (like it's illegal to drive with the windows rolled down!) and warned me that any tint on the front sides are "illegal."

So, can I print something out and keep it in my car? I doubt if I print out the website screen, it'll be credible enough to keep Bacon from writing me a ticket, right?

What is there to test, officer? What's the matter, realizing your choice of profession yields negativity from most people on this board? Better get back to work, someone could be jaywalking at this very moment!!!!!

I'm sure you can do better than that. If you are unable to further a debate, then just say so...

I hope you aren't serious. They do have a device that they place on the window that measures the amount of light that is able to pass through the window. And a 30% tint film BLOCKS 70% of light and ALLOWS 30% of light to pass through. And most cops know the law very well. The reason is that is an easy way to pull people over so they can bust people for other things, such as DUIs.

Maybe you'll need them someday...

But they'll be busy [helping normal people] and you'll end up looking like burnt scrambled eggs.

I was just pointing out that you're spouting off at the mouth without knowing facts...
I'm sorry, but I doubt very many of us sulk that people don't like us...
as for me working, dropping by your girls house while you do the ole 9-5 seems promising...
