Illuminated Side Markers (CCFL)
I was thinking about doing the LED mod on my side markers, but did this instead.
What do you guys think? My camera sucks at nighttime pics, but you get the idea. They're lit up by a CCFL from behind so the lighting is nice and uniform. I didn't like seeing individual dots like LEDs. No modification to the side marker at all so it's completely reversible and you don't risk getting water/condensation in them.

How about $20 shipped per kit and $15 for each additional kit? Kit will include two inverters and FOUR red 12" CCFLs. Each inverter will power two CCFLs so you can light other places near the side marker or just use the extra two as spares. You need two inverters because the CCFL wires won't stretch very far and you can't extend them.
I can do a write-up if enough people are interested, but basically you just mount the CCFL (I used Gorilla tape) behind the side marker and hook up to parking light power.
