Default Switches on roadster passenger seat back

The switches on the back of the roadster's passenger seat allow access to the storage bin and cancel the backrest moving forward when opening the top. Mine don't do anything. Suggestions?

What do you mean it doesn't do anything?

One switch tilts the passenger seat back forward in order to open the storage bin behind that seat. The other switch cancels the automatic feature that tilts the seat back forward when the top is opened.

Neither switch works. The tilt switch does not move the seat back in either direction. The cancel switch does not stop the seat back from tilting forward when the top is opened.

Make sure the connector is plugged in under the seat.

So, had a bad battery and replaced it yesterday. Tried the switch this morning to get the manual out of the storage bin. Yup, it fixed itself. Thought only my Alfa was capable of that minor miracle.
