I dont even have to say it.. this build its its own folly/punchline.
haha. ( fake laughter, ready to jump off building and end life)
Well here is the car being worked on. The engine is done, has been for about a month, now is ready to roll. The FI portion, im told, will be on tomorrow. Fuel etc.
Now all the shows are out of the away. There are no more parts or services stil being owed by me, its all paid, all done and ready to roll, and no one gets to make excusees any more as theres no gray area. That includes me.. not just the shop.
But, the car is on the lift, meaning its the one being worked on, and the other cars got moved.. and if you knwo IMR, that means alot haha.
nothing pretty yet, but those of you in this thread surely lost interst a loooooong time ago.
we are at this point at about 11 months.
No sense posting and beating ME up about any of it ( ie told you so etc), Ive already lived thru the worst of it for almsot a year. btw, it was my daily driver, and will be until July-Aug when I buy something else. I dont trust FI for more than 90 days at a pop after reading and being involved w the FI threads this year.

Glad it is finally moving forward. Sorry you have had such a hard time.
I feel your pain.
I am pulling for a reliable motor that lasts for years to come for you!
If it makes you feel any better my 4.08 ring & pinion were destroyed by improper install by you know who so it's at AZ Differential and as we hoped it was just the bearings I am waiting on a new 4.08 FD. Thank god it's the last thing they did (all of which was redone).

As for offsets, the reccomnded set up is 20x 9.5 +18 front, and 20x11 -18 in the rear.
I'm running the widest setup in a Z right now with that kit
20x12 +10 F
20x14 +10 R
see you in OC, I might be selling my set if you interested.
great build so far, and I cant wait to see it man. keep it up, after all this there will be happy days ahead.
