Just remove the emblems and you will see how they are attached, the holes are only used as a guide.
I would not recommend using anything other than auto-specific tape. It will just droop down and you will need to repaint it again. Look for the 3M tape at any auto store.

Does this look like that it'll work? It's available from Princess Auto which is obviously an auto store.

Finally did it, removed the emblems, plastidip'ed them and then put them back on. Pictures aren't the best quality, it was a little dark in the garage.
I am getting my roof, window mirrors, door handles, gas tank cover and maybe the spoiler, getting wrapped with cf wrap net week. Should flow well with everything.

^^ Looks good man. So you took them off to paint? Seems like you could have just used standard paint then. Plasti dip is good for us lazy folk who don't want to remove the badges.
Looks good though. Post some pics of your door handle wrap. I'm trying to decide how I want to take care of my handles.

I thought about just ding the real paint, but then for it finish really well, I'd have to sand it down and stuff. Obviously I didn't want to bother with all that.
I'll post some pics after I get the wrapping done. Haven't decided if I want to do side mirrors, door handles, gas tank cover etc yet, I'll prolly decide at the moment when I am getting the roof done.

First try was the black finished emblems from Courtesy. From the ones they did manage to send, paid for four emblems only got two so beware of them. Of the two the finish off the front one started spotting up and looked like crap. The body shop who installed my body kit offered to matte black the emblems.
For as much as Courtesy charges for the emblem you'd think the finish would have lasted. Go figure.
